Appointments
Most appointments are on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. We do not schedule appointment times on Fridays. Mondays are reserved for lab time, staff meetings, education and maintenance. In order to see each patient on time, it is not possible to accommodate walk-in appointments. If you have an emergency, please call and speak to a staff member, who will be happy to find an appropriate time to take care of your needs.
Appointment times vary according to the procedure. The earliest appointment is 7:30 a.m. and the latest is 4:15 p.m. for shorter appointments. Longer appointments require a morning appointment time. We offer a variety of morning and afternoon appointment times.
We strive to offer you the best appointment time to sure your scheduling needs. Please know that most of your appointments can be accomplished within half an hour, but a few appointments will need to be longer, since they may require a great deal of doctor and assistant time. We strive to see as many patients as possible in the early morning appointments and during the after-school/late appointment times. In order to do this, it is necessary to schedule longer appointments in the mid-morning and early afternoon. We realize that this may pose some inconvenience for work and school at times, but you will be provided ample notice and will receive a written excuse to provide work or school for your absence. Consultations, initial banding/bonding, repositioning/repairing appliances and removal of appliances are examples of appointments that require mid-morning appointment times.
Please notify us as soon as possible should you need to reschedule or miss your regularly scheduled appointment. To keep your treatment on track, you will likely need to come in during the mid-morning or early afternoon if rescheduling. Each patient is scheduled six weeks in advance, so it will be very challenging to obtain an early or late appointment on short notice.
Billing & Financial Arrangements
You will be provided a contract and financial arrangements prior to treatment. It is our policy to refer to a collections agency at 60 days’ delinquency and to remove appliances at 90 days until resolved. You will find that our financial coordinator is more than willing to work through any financial issues that may arise if you keep in close communication with her.
